Morocco Surf Forecast is designed to respect your privacy. We do not require accounts and we do not ask you for personal information to use the forecast.
Your list of favourite spots and language choice are stored only in your own browser (local storage). They never leave your device and we cannot read them.
The app shows fixed surf spots and does not request your GPS location.
To show forecasts and the map, the app loads content from third parties — including Open-Meteo (marine and weather data), Windy (interactive map), Google Fonts and our advertising partner. These services may receive your IP address and standard technical information (such as browser type) as part of delivering their content, and may use cookies or similar technologies in line with their own privacy policies.
We use Google Ads with the Google tag (gtag.js) to measure how visitors reach this site and whether our advertising works. Google may set cookies or use similar identifiers to attribute a visit to an ad click, to measure conversions, and — where you have consented — for remarketing and personalised advertising.
Google acts as an independent controller for this data. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can manage your Google ad settings at myadcenter.google.com.
Advertising and measurement cookies are disabled until you accept them. When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or reject; we store only your choice, in your own browser. If you reject, Google's tags run in a limited mode that does not use cookies for advertising. To change your decision later, clear this site's data in your browser settings and choose again on your next visit.
This site is supported by advertising served by Monetag. Our advertising partner may use cookies and device identifiers to select, show and measure ads, in line with its own privacy policy.
